77 Million Paintings Projected

77 Million has spectacularly stepped out beyond the domestic environment for which it was originally conceived. Now showing in large installations consisting of multiple-monitor configurations it is re-defining architectural space in galleries and on iconic buildings around the world.

In 2009, Brian Eno was invited to project 77 Million Paintings onto the famous sails of the Sydney Opera House. The international acclaim received attracted further invitations to create large-scale projections, from a huge viaduct in Brazil, the Arcos de Lapa, to the enormous radio telescope at Jodrell Bank.
